Unlock Your Child’s Potential

School & Work Skills | Science & Math Tutoring

Secondary school is a pivotal time for students to prepare for college. Unfortunately, many don’t learn the essential organizational and time management skills until long after they’ve finished school. My services allow students the opportunity to learn skills essential for success in school before it’s too late.

I was once where many students stand now – a procrastinator, unorganized, yet still getting by on my innate smarts and wit. My mother would say, “You have so much potential, why don’t you use it?” It was simple: I didn’t know how. I was overwhelmed.

But I’m an innovator. Through college I picked up strategies as classes became more difficult. I eventually made it to the pinnacle – a PhD in materials science – yet my journey did not end there. As someone who is also self-taught in the arts, I found even more ways to motivate myself beyond school. I know my techniques work because I used them myself to go from procrastinator to master of self-discipline – all without losing my easy disposition or sense of humor.

I can’t go back and help my younger self, but I can help future students who want to succeed but struggle with knowledge or motivation.

These gifts I give to my students: A lifetime of productivity techniques, a PhD-level understanding of math and science, the experience of the business world and applying to jobs, and the patience of someone who’s been there before.
